The view was insane and the private pools were epic. We had a blast cycling through the stunning surroundings and hiking to the waterfall. The cottage was comfy AF with all the chill vibes we needed. Definitely the perfect spot for a rad teenage adventure!
If we had to ask for one thing, it would be a better party scene for young people like us. It's great for a chill getaway, but we were craving some more fun activities to turn up the volume and make our trip even more legendary.

Stunning location with large, well-equipped cottages and beautiful views. Enjoyed the hot tub and activities like fishing, kayaking, and swimming in the nearby river. Great food and service at the restaurant. Highly recommend the guided tours and swimming area.

For the price we paid, the value at this hotel was excellent. The room was comfortable, well-equipped, and had fine views from the peaceful hillside location.
The only thing that could have made breakfast better was a wider variety of items to choose from.

I recently stayed at Mount Ceder for a few nights and it was the perfect getaway. The cottage was located in a peaceful spot on the hillside, offering beautiful views. It was well equipped and our bed was incredibly comfortable. We loved the variety of activities available, from hiking to canoeing on the river. The on-site restaurant and bar were a nice addition for days when we didn't feel like cooking. it was a tranquil and beautiful experience in nature.
I do recommend this hotel.

Some of the staff members seemed indifferent and unhelpful at times.

The setting was absolutely stunning, surrounded by picturesque mountains and peaceful nature. the property itself was lovely and well-appointed, with spacious cottages and breathtaking views. the staff were incredibly friendly and laid-back, making us feel comfortable and at ease. We also enjoyed the fact that there were some beautiful walking trails nearby, leading to stunning locations that made us feel like we were exploring a hidden wilderness. having WiFi and a landline at the reception was really useful for any urgent communication needs.
The only downside we experienced was the remote location, which required quite a long drive on gravel roads to reach. While this added to the feeling of being off the beaten track, it also made it less convenient for exploring nearby areas without a car.

We stayed in one of the renovated shepherd cottages for a weekend getaway. The rustic charm and well-appointed features made it the perfect hideaway for two. We loved the isolation and the stunning views of the mountains and olive groves. The staff, especially Gladstone and Marelize, were excellent hosts. The breakfasts were nourishing and enjoyable, and the lamb shank in the restaurant was excellent. The cottages had comfortable beds, warm blankets for chilly nights, AC, and fully equipped kitchens. The lack of signal was a bonus, but the WiFi and landline at reception were useful for urgent communication.
Can just recommend this hotel.

Stayed at a place with a private entrance, so fancy. The fireplace was perfect for roasting marshmallows. And oh, the hot tub and BBQ were fantastic for my wild parties.
Apparently, the staff didn't get the memo on being polite and attentive. How useful.

Our stay at this incredible place was absolutely mind-blowing! The cottages are super comfortable and well equipped with jaw-dropping views of the surrounding olive orchards. The waterfall hike was totally worth it and the braai facilities, both inside and outside, were top-notch. We also enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and the peacefulness of the location. The guided hike was a unique opportunity to explore the area and learn about the native plants and animals. The restaurant served delicious food and the service was excellent. The coffee, combined with the local water, was out of this world. Can't wait to come back!

I had an amazing stay at the Mount Ceder Villa. The location was fine, offering amazing mountain views, made waking up in the morning a delight. The spacious villa was well-designed and provided ample space and privacy for everyone in my family. We especially loved the large veranda and wood-fired hot tub, perfect for relaxing and taking in the beautiful surroundings. The beds were comfortable and the linens were of great quality, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with any questions or requests we had. We even had the option to store our luggage on the check-out day, great to continue exploring without any hassle. I highly recommend the Mount Ceder Villa for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway.
It would have been helpful to know in advance that the individual houses at Mount Ceder aren't located together. My friend and I booked two apartments and were disappointed to find out that they were a mile apart.
